21 Day Fast ~ It's All About God

Greetings St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church II, Inc.!  It is time to move forward in God.  The bible teaches us that some things come only by fasting and praying.  If we're going to grow in God, we must be all about God.

The purpose of this fast is to help you deal with the struggles that keep you in bondage.  Satan and his deception can't keep you where you are unless you allow it.  The Lord said it is broken and we are escaped (Psalms 124).  Now, go after God!

God wants to reveal himself to His people.  I charge you to make up your mind to be all that God has called you to be.  God has chosen this fast to: loose the chains of injustice; untie the chords of the yoke; set the oppressed free; and break every yoke (Isaiah 58:6).

Lavender Springs Spa Women's Retreat

  • Brunswick Community College Leland Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Lavender Springs Spa is a one-day retreat for women to experience a relaxing and spiritually nourishing event featuring the Psalms. Through six sessions, we will journey through the psalms of the Bible, studying the different kinds of songs, poems and psalms that have inspired people for centuries. Participants learn how the psalms help us to share our feelings, disappointments, celebrations and doubts with a truly great listener: God. And they'll leave with a fresh approach to prayer that will grow their faith throughout the months to come. Women study Psalms of Praise, Psalms of Lament, Wisdom Psalms, Psalms of Ascent, Psalms of Confession, and Psalms of Thanksgiving.  We invite you to join us as we rest in God's faithfulness.

Theme: What's Love Got to Do With It

June 22, 2015 - June 25, 2015

6:00 PM

Love is a deliberate act of intentional goodwill toward another person. This year's VBS will teach the essence of God's love and compare and contrast it with other types of love.  As we appreciate God's love for us, we can better express our love for Him and for those around us, building relationships based on His definition of love.  These are lessons that can be enjoyed by both youth and adults.  Please join us as we learn 'What's Love Got to Do With It'!

Relay for Life

We know too many people whose lives have been touched by cancer. We can't sit still and not take action against this disease that has hurt so many. That's why St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church II, Inc. is participating in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life® movement.

Relay For Life is our opportunity to celebrate loved ones who have won their battle against cancer, remember those no longer with us, and fight back against this disease that robs so many of so much.

More than just walking the track, we're fundraising! Our fundraising goal is $500.  Because of the donations, more people in more communities:

  • Have the information and tools they need to help reduce their risk of getting cancer or find the disease early, when it's easiest to treat
  • Have a place to turn for help 24/7
  • Benefit from the progress being made toward finding cancer's causes and cures
  • Get access to lifesaving screenings and treatment

Please join usin fighting cancer and consider supporting fundraising efforts by making a donation and walking the track with us on May 1. The links at the bottom of this email makes it so simple! Dollars raised bring us one step closer to a world with less cancer and more birthdays, a world where not another life is lost to the disease.

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we will finish the fight!
